Position Summary
As a Senior Dental Practice Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the operations and administration of our dental practice. Your leadership will be instrumental in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, efficient practice operations, and a positive patient experience. You will manage a team of dental staff, coordinate day-to-day activities, and implement strategies to achieve practice goals and objectives. Duties and Responsibilities
The duties include, but are not limited to:
- Practice Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of practice operations, including scheduling, patient flow, treatment coordination, and facility management in multiple locations as needed. Ensure smooth and efficient smooth and efficient operation of the dental practice to optimize patient satisfaction and staff productivity.
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead and manage a team of dental professionals, including dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff in multiple locations as needed. Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to support staff development and ensure a cohesive team environment.
- Patient Care and Experience: Uphold high standards of patient care and service excellence. Ensure that patients receive personalized attention, compassionate care, and professional treatment throughout their dental visits. Address patient concerns or complaints promptly and effectively.
- Financial Management: Manage the financial aspects of the dental practice, including budgeting, billing, collections, and revenue cycle management. Monitor practice finances, analyze financial performance, and implement strategies to maximize profitability and efficiency.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards governing dental practices. Stay informed about regulatory changes and updates and implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance.
- Quality Assurance and Risk Management: Implement quality assurance measures to uphold clinical standards and infection control protocols. Develop and enforce policies and procedures to migrate risks and ensure patients' safety.
- Marketing and Business Development: Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new patients and retain existing ones. Identify opportunities for practice growth, expansion, and service diversification.
- Technology Integration: Evaluate and implement dental practice management software, digital imaging systems, electronic health records (EHR), and other technology solutions to enhance practice efficiency and patient care.
- Community Engagement: Represent the dental practice in the local community and participate in outreach activities, events, and partnerships to promote oral health education and awareness.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Five years of experience in dental practice management, with a demonstrated track record of leadership and achievement in a clinical setting.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and best practices in clinical dentistry.
- • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and develop a diverse team of dental professionals.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with a focus on patient satisfaction and experience.
- Financial acumen and experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and revenue cycle management within a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) and Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards applicable to dental practices (e.g., HIPAA, OSHA).
- Commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and staying current with industry trends and best practices in dental practice management.
